Henry A. Tesoroni the founding partner in the firm in 1979 has been practicing immigration Law exclusively since that time. He is admitted to the bar in the state of New Jersey and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Federal District Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Tesoroni served as a criminal investigator with the United States Immigration Service in Newark, New Jersey from April 1971 until June 1979. He is a graduate of the sixteen-week intensive border patrol course at United States Border Patrol Academy in Port Isabel, Texas and the Journeyman's School for Immigration Officers also in Port Isabel. During his tenure with the Service Mr. Tesoroni, in addition to his investigative assignments, served as the Newark, New Jersey District Office Training Officer for both Immigration Law and Investigator's Procedures. He has earned several special achievement awards from the U.S. Immigration Service.
Mr. Tesoroni specializes in immigration business law. He handles applications for permanent residence based on labor certifications and temporary E, H and L visas. Mr. Tesoroni also handles complex deportation matters and appeals. He has litigated complex matters in deportation proceedings before immigration judges, the Board of Immigration Appeals and has presented oral argument before the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.
Mr. Tesoroni, a Newark, New Jersey native is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Italian. Mr. Tesoroni is an avid sports fan and golfer who enjoys traveling and classical music.
Lawrence K. Le Roy has been practicing immigration Law as a partner with Tesoroni & Le Roy since 1981. He is admitted to the bar in the states of New Jersey and New York. He is likewise admitted to practice before the U.S. Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Federal District Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Le Roy was named as a "SuperLawyer" in the field of immigration in New Jersey Monthly for 2006 and 2008. Only 5% of the New Jersey lawyers receive this acknowledgement.
Mr. Le Roy obtained his initial background in immigration law during his tenure with the United States Immigration Service as an Immigration Officer. He is a graduate of the United States Border Patrol Academy and numerous other training programs required by the U.S. Immigration Service including finishing among the top two graduates of the Journeyman Criminal Investigators course as well as receiving Internal Affairs investigations training. Mr. Le Roy has received several special achievement awards from the U.S. Immigration Service. He is currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association and has been quoted in the Newark Star Ledger newspaper. Mr. Le Roy has likewise appeared on Spanish radio in both New Jersey and Miami, Florida.
Mr. Le Roy represents clients on a regular basis before the U.S. Immigration Service pursuant to applications for permanent residence, political asylum and naturalization. He is well known for handling difficult cases in all areas of immigration law. He litigates complex deportation matters the U.S. Immigration Courts and has appeared in numerous jurisdictions including Newark, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Miami, Phoenix and Buffalo.
Mr. Le Roy is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and is fluent in Spanish. He is also a pilot and a member of the Air Wing of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and regularly flies safety and Homeland Security patrols.
